There's no permanent free plan — but you get a full 30-day free trial with no restrictions. Every feature is available from day one of your trial so you can decide if it's worth it before you're charged a cent.
When does the trial start?
The 30-day trial starts after onboarding and your first transaction — not on the moment you download the app. You get to experience real value before the clock starts.
What happens when the trial ends?
You'll be prompted to subscribe. If you don't, access to core features is paused until you subscribe. Your data is never deleted.
Why does it cost money?
Cashgaroo uses OpenAI's vision models to power receipt scanning, plus a backend server to sync your data securely across devices. These cost real money to run. A subscription keeps the app running without ads or selling your data.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes — you can upgrade to yearly at any time from the App Store subscription settings. The yearly plan works out to about USD 2.50/month, roughly half the monthly price.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime through your iPhone's App Store subscription settings. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Do you sell my financial data?
No. Never. Cashgaroo is funded entirely by subscriptions — your spending data stays yours and is never sold or shared with third parties.
